Welcome to NavVault. By installing or using this browser extension, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using NavVault ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use NavVault. This requirement aligns with the terms of service of the AI platforms we support (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok), some of which require users to be 18 or older.

By using NavVault, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Description of Service

NavVault is a browser extension that provides productivity tools for AI chat platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Grok. The Extension offers features such as chat organization, prompt libraries, and data export capabilities.

4. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension for personal or commercial purposes.

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Extension
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the Extension in violation of any applicable law

5. Subscription Plans & Pricing

5.1 Free Tier

The Free tier provides limited access to core features at no cost. Free tier limitations may change at any time.

5.2 Pro Monthly

Pro Monthly is a recurring subscription billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Activation Limit: Each license key has a 5-activation limit. Once activated 5 times, the key cannot be used on additional devices.

5.3 Lifetime License

The Lifetime license grants permanent access to all current Pro features with a one-time payment. "Lifetime" refers to the operational life of the product, not the user's life. If NavVault is discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice.

6. Payment & Billing

• Payments are processed securely by Dodo Payments (our Merchant of Record)
• All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise noted
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes
• Subscription renewals are automatic unless cancelled

7. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws
• Respect the terms of service of third-party platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok)
• Not use the Extension for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Maintain the security of your license key (Pro/Lifetime users)

9. Third-Party Platforms

NavVault interacts with third-party AI platforms. We are not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for:

• Changes to third-party platform interfaces that affect Extension functionality
• Data you submit to third-party platforms
• Third-party platform outages or service interruptions

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of NavVault is also governed by our Privacy Policy. NavVault operates on a local-first architecture—your data is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data or content
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Service interruptions
• Computer damage or system failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Extension in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Extension is revoked
• You must uninstall the Extension
• Provisions that should survive (liability, disputes) will remain in effect

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the Extension or email (if provided). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
